Real Time Commanding
Use the Real-Time Commanding tab to send commands to the spacecraft during a running simulation. The Spacecraft Command window behaves similarly to the Sequence Editor page. You can select a command from the Command List and then modify any relevant input arguments to that command.
The following features are unique to this page:
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Real-Time Command Counter | Displays a running total of the number of commands executed. |
Prepare Command | Once you select a command, and it is ready for you to send to the spacecraft, click this button to prepare the command. Once clicked, the button text will change to "Execute Command". |
Execute Command | Sends the command to the spacecraft, incrementing the counter and causing a change in the spacecraft's activities. Once clicked, the button text will change back to "Prepare Command". |
Cancel | Appears once a command is prepared. It enables you to cancel the prepared command rather than execute it. |
A warning will appear if
Enable Real-Time Constraints
is selected in the SOLIS Configuration page and the spacecraft is not visible to any of the supplied ground stations.
