Real Time Commanding

Use the Real-Time Commanding tab to send commands to the spacecraft during a running simulation. The Spacecraft Command window behaves similarly to the Sequence Editor page. You can select a command from the Command List and then modify any relevant input arguments to that command.

The following features are unique to this page:

Feature Description
Real-Time Command Counter Displays a running total of the number of commands executed.
Prepare Command Once you select a command, and it is ready for you to send to the spacecraft, click this button to prepare the command. Once clicked, the button text will change to "Execute Command".
Execute Command Sends the command to the spacecraft, incrementing the counter and causing a change in the spacecraft's activities. Once clicked, the button text will change back to "Prepare Command".
Cancel Appears once a command is prepared. It enables you to cancel the prepared command rather than execute it.

A warning will appear if Enable Real-Time Constraints is selected in the SOLIS Configuration page and the spacecraft is not visible to any of the supplied ground stations.
